 | Get Your Swimwear On Tommy Bahama (702.948.6828) takes swimwear on a journey this spring and looks to the past for inspiration. Women's suits feature details such as ruching on a sexy one-piece maillot and a tank with a plunging neckline that bring a touch of old Hollywood to the collection. Two-piece styles -- from a reversible halter top bikini to a beautifully constructed under wire top that comes in bra sizes -- infuse the season with a young-at-heart sensibility. A color palette of neutrals (black, cafe, white) and shades of blues popping up in skinny stripes keeps things fresh and modern. We love this Pearl Solids Under wire Full Coverage Molded Cup Bra ($76) and the matching Pearl Solids Hipster with Side Rings by Tommy Bahama ($61). |

| Attend a Book Signing The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® welcomes author Michael Vernetti on March 12 from noon to 2 p.m. as he signs copies of his book Lies Within Lies: The Betrayal of Nevada Judge Harry Claiborne ($28.95). It was no surprise when Nevada Judge Harry Claiborne was tapped for a seat on the federal bench in 1978. But while admired in Nevada, Claiborne did not fit the mold of a judicial appointee. Known for spending his free time at Binion's Horseshoe Club and hobnobbing with the casino's notorious patriarch, Benny Binion, Claiborne's appointment caught the wary eye of the Justice Department, which targeted him as a corrupt character. The showdown that ensued was front-page news for much of the 1980s, and ended in what author Michael Vernetti characterizes as one of the great injustices in judicial history. |
