With the holiday season fast approaching, it’s time to take a good look at our winter wardrobe and favorite social attire and see what’s missing. What’s New: Inglot
The Polish-based cosmetics company Inglot furthered its expansion into the United States when its third U.S. store opened at Town Square last month. Inglot houses more than 1,500 colors for the face, eyes, eyebrows, lips and nails. A playground for makeup mavens and newcomers, Inglot features a Freedom System that allows guests to mix and match its endless shades and color combinations to create a look that best suits them. Center Happenings:  Santa’s Arrival
Get your holiday wish list ready because Santa Claus will arrive at Town Square on Saturday, November 20 at 6 p.m. via a horse drawn carriage and community parade. The parade, featuring holiday characters, starts at the West Valet near Yard House and ends at the Norman Rockwell-inspired Santa house in Town Square Park. Upon reaching his house, Santa will light a 40-foot Christmas tree and snow will fall in Town Square Park. Following the snow, children can take photos with Santa inside his house.

Center Happenings:  Snow in the Square November 20 – December 31
Town Square brings holiday cheer to Las Vegas in the form of snowflakes with Snow in the Square at Town Square Park. Each show lasts 10 minutes and is choreographed to everyone’s favorite holiday music. Enjoy the snow Monday – Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Town Square presents the Holiday Nights & Lights community concert series in Town Square Park every Wednesday from November 24 – December 22 from 6 p.m. -7 p.m. The concert series features local choirs and music groups from Las Vegas schools and community organizations.

Santa will be at his house Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. & Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Santa breaks for milk and cookies Monday through Saturday from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. – 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Children can enjoy live readings of their favorite books during Storytime in the Square every Wednesday in the Children’s Park from 11 a.m. to noon. Local storytellers will entertain and enlighten girls and boys as they read from children’s classic books, fairy tales and more.

What to do:  Help Opportunity Village
BRIO Tuscan Grill is dishing out a little extra help on November 11 to Opportunity Village. The Italian restaurant will donate 10 percent of its sales that day to the non-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities. The Opportunity Village Thrift Store truck will be be across from BRIO and White House Black Market from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. collecting donations of new and gently used clothing, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, electronics, artwork and books. All proceeds from the donation of these items will be used to rebuild the Thrift Store at its original Main Street location. Opportunity Village provides vocational training, social skills, community job placement, art and life skill enrichment, respite and habilitation to more than 1,700 people each day, enhancing their lives and the lives of their families. What to do:  Shop with a Cop
Claim Jumper will welcome members of the North Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on November 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. as they work alongside the restaurant’s hosts, servers and food runners to collect tips for the Shop with a Cop program. Shop with a Cop is a program under the North Las Vegas Police Department that pairs medically fragile children and their siblings with a police officer as their “personal shopper” just before the holidays, so they are able to pick out holiday gifts for themselves and their family members. The program’s goal is to bring the holiday season to seriously ill children whose families have been rendered financially disadvantaged. What to do:  Hold it for the Holidays

What to do: Celebrate Sanrio’s 50th Anniversary
Sanrio is off and running on its pop up shop mobile tour across the country to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and it will stop at Town Square on November 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pop-up shop will offer a menu of specially selected and produced “50 must have” collectible products, celebrating the legacy of Sanrio and its characters. Products will range from special edition tote bags and tees to vinyl figures and laptop sleeves. The mobile unit will also carry iconic Sanrio items and special product collaborations from such companies including Aerial7, Lomography, Mimoco, Loungefly, Girl Skateboard Co., and tokidoki. During the tour, fans will have a chance to meet some of Sanrio’s classic characters, snap photos and participate in special fun activities.
