WHAT TO DO

Support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Several Town Square restaurants and shops are stepping up their philanthropic efforts this month by partnering with Cure 4 the Kids Foundation and offeringa way for the community to support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of sales from various items on the menus will go to Cure 4 the Kids, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit foundation, that funds The Children's Specialty Center of Nevada. It is the only nonprofit pediatric cancer outpatient treatment center in the state of Nevada.Cancer is a life changing event. Families throughout Southern Nevada learn this every day. Unfortunately, many will also learn the health insurance they thought would cover their children's diagnosis doesn't begin to address all of their needs. Those without any health insurance will see their options for treatment severely limited. Getting proper and timely treatment is essential for these children to improve their chances of surviving, and with the least amount of long term effects. This is what Cure 4 The Kids Foundation strives to do. The following restaurants and shops have come to the table with special donation plans and will be participating over a designated weekend in September.
